Where it excels and where it fails

Lovely view of the lake from the room. remarkably friendly staff made us feel true hospitality! Immaculate room with a full kitchen was ideal for our family.

Being right on the main road, traffic noise was a persistent issue. accessing the hotel during rush hours proved quite challenging at times.

Absolutely loved my stay! ! So comfortable and clean, such a wonderful view of the lake.

The spa bath was a real treat after our long day of exploring, and the overall cleanliness of the room made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed relaxing in the garden area and taking advantage of the BBQ facilities. While the road noise was slightly noticeable at times, it didn’t take away from our wonderful stay. 😊

Just an appropriate option for a swift stopover in Taupo, great for the money. The quietest hotel fridge I've ever come across made my brief stay even better. Try to book a room at the back for less noise.

Had an epic time staying with friends! The location is perfect, right across from the lake. We did some kayaking and found awesome hiking trails nearby. The kitchen in our room was fully stocked. Will be back for sure!

The only downside was the freezer in the fridge didn’t freeze, so we couldn’t chill any drinks.

would like to stay longer

Nice comfy bedroom with a king bed. The studio had a fabulous spa bath and air conditioning. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils and even a dishwasher. Loved the little outdoor seating area for morning coffee. Super clean and had a warm feel. Staff were really nice and accommodating.

Impressive views of the lake and mountains enhanced the experience, especially from the separate balcony. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking, allowing for comfortable meals in our cozy space. However, the seating in the living area could have been better for relaxation, and we encountered some minor cleanliness issues that were disappointing. Additionally, the noise from the road was noticeable, affecting the tranquility usually expected in such a serene setting.

We had an amazing time enjoying the lake right across from our room. The kids had plenty of fun kayaking during the day! The staff was welcoming and helpful, and we really appreciated the nice selection of coffee in our Two-Bedroom apartment.

My wife says that the seating in the living area could be improved for family comfort.

The location offered stunning lake views right from our room, making each morning feel special. The kitchen was impeccably clean and well-equipped for our weekend meals. We also appreciated the comfortable bed, which made for restful nights after our daily activities.
